Polarization Optics

Polarization Optics

Polarization is critical for a wide variety of optical applications, it’s used in different mathod to reduce glare and reflections, eliminate interference from scattered light, and enhance color and light contrasts.

Each method uses particular materials that control the flow and direction of light beams through the use of absorption, transmission, or reflection.

We manufacture a wide variety of high quality beamsplitters optimized for different applications, including polarizing beamsplitters, non-polarizing beamsplitters and dichroic beamsplitters.

We design the wavelength, angle of incidence and extinction ratio to meet customer requirements. All beamsplitters are made of high quality glass, with high surface quality to allow tight tolerance and ensure optimal performance and reliable results with extremely high precision.

Cube Beamsplitters

Two rectangular prisms are bonded together and a dielectric multilayer film is applied to the slope of one prism to separate the P- and S-polarized components. It separates a single wavelength of the near-infrared region from the ultraviolet region, and the P- and S-polarized components of the visible region.

Plate Beamsplitters

By applying a dielectric multilayer film onto a substrate, it is possible to separate the P- and S-polarized components of a single wavelength or narrow range of wavelengths within the wavelength range from the ultraviolet region to the near infrared region. It has excellent light and heat resistance and is suitable for laser applications.
